Roy McMurtry Legal Clinic serves low income individuals, groups, and service providers in the counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. As a network of 79 provincial legal clinics funded by Legal Aid Ontario, we seek to be a source of light, enlightenment, and a beacon of hope for those seeking justice.
Services are available in both English and French and are provided with the utmost confidentiality.

If you have a straightforward question, we may be able to provide you with an answer over the phone. For questions pertaining to a specific legal matter, it is always best to schedule an appointment to meet with a member of our staff. In addition to providing you with legal advice, we may also represent you at your hearing.

Public Legal Education
Workshops and training sessions are available to help clients understand their legal rights and obligations. These sessions cover a range of topics and can be custom tailored to meet the specific needs of the group. There are also a number of free pamphlets and other pieces of legal information at our office in Cornwall.
